This is my 12th year of teaching and my 9th year with Prince William County Schools.  I taught at Bristow Run Elementary School for 4 years until I moved up with many of my fifth graders to teach 6th grade here at GVMS!  I have a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Delaware in Elementary Education pre-K through grade 8 and Special Education pre-K through grade 12, as well as a minor in History. I earned my Masters of Education degree in Instruction through the University of Virginia in 2006.

I have been married for nine years to a wonderful man and amazing History teacher. My husband, Blake, teaches at Stonewall Jackson High School, another of Prince William County’s finest! I have a 6 year old daughter, Natalie, who just started first grade this year! I also have a 3 year old daughter Madeleine. My family is a top priority and I love them dearly!

Not many people get to wake up every day and truly enjoy going to work, but I do. It is an honor, a privilege, and a huge responsibility to know that I am helping to shape the minds of the future leaders of America! But, what a better way to make a difference and leave behind a legacy! Thank you for sharing your children with me!
